April in the Potager

The early crops are getting off to a good start inspite of recent rain, hail and wind. The addition of pea gravel around the beds proved to be an excellent choice. I was able to pull weeds and actually do some planting between storms.



United States Botanic Garden

Just back from Washington D.C. and a visit to the United States Botanic Garden. I have visited the garden several times but never in the spring.
